Veit is the Executive Creative Director for Mercedes-Benz at their European lead agency antoni. You can see a selection of his recent work here.

Since running the agency’s creative department, Veit has been pushing for more culturally relevant work - among which was “Grow Up“, a globally acclaimed campaign to redefine the automotive brand, as well as collaborations with artists like Nicki Minaj or A$AP Rocky, whose coming of age story became a branded short film.

His goal is to evolve the traditional approach to automotive, for example by creating a SUV campaign that subverts the segment’s typical macho narrative; launching an app to configure a Mercedes everywhere, anytime; updating the brand’s visual identity; and recently launching their first electric car in a way that doesn’t make you think of a bad sci-fi movie.

In 2018 he became partner at antoni, shaping the agency and helping its growth.

Before becoming a full-time car guy, Veit has been working at DDB Berlin on a variety of clients. He started a documentary about the future of clothing, created Wi-Fi sniffing dogs for T-Mobile and set up, on behalf of Sony, Bangkok’s biggest fireworks display.

Prior to that, he launched the new global communication platform for Emirates Airlines and spent some years as Head of Design at TBWA\Berlin. The best memories of that time are a huge goalkeeper, some work for Absolut Vodka and PlayStation as well as Germany’s first iPhone campaign ever (for all you Gen Zs out there: yes, there was a time before smartphones).

He likes to work across all kinds of media, is experienced in building and leading creative teams and is obsessed with making things look beautiful. Veit has won over 100 awards across the major shows – including Cannes Lions, D&AD, One Show and a Grand Prix at the Euro Effies.

He plays the drums, remembers a ridiculous amount of useless facts about music, soccer and movies and, in spite of being German, has a sense of humor.

Veit is pronounced like “fight” and is indeed his real name.
